Happy Birthday Dear Mother!

Today is Mom's 45th Birthday!

Mom we are so thankful that the Lord has given us you as our mom. Thank you for serving us and loving us unconditionally. Thanks for all the meals you've made, loads of laundry you've washed, rides you've given, fights you've helped to resolve, for not only putting up with our crazy parties but joining in on the fun, for being our dear friend, for hurting when we hurt, for letting us talk to you passed midnight on your bed when you're trying to go to sleep, for all the laughing fits while shopping... the list goes on and on!
Most of all thank you for shepherding our hearts. We are forever grateful for your probing questions, wise council and gentle correction. You are always quick to point us to the gospel and comfort us with the fact that God will be faithful.
Mom thank you for showing us how to battle sin and how important it is to have our quiet times. You are so humble to confess your struggles and sin and always ask for observation. Thank you for being an example of how to walk out our Christian faith. WE LOVE YOU MOM!

Happy BIrthday Jenny. Sorry I forgot to tell you HB on Sunday. You sure don't look like 45 - what a great picture of you! I'm so glad that we are able to live so close - You do have an uncanny way of drawing people out. It is so fun to observe and it has been very helpful for myself and many others. I love you Sis! Lin

Happy Birthday Aunt Jen! Sorry it's a day late, but wanted you to know I didn't forget. Although I will say, when I say the age you are I about fell out of my chair! 45 yrs. HOLY COW! I still think of you as being in your 30's! You definently don't look as old as you are. (Hee! Hee!) Well, where should I begin...You have loved me through the joy and the tears over the years, to say the least! So many wonderful memories come to mind when I think of you. But the biggest one would be the way you have walked out your life as a Godly women through the years. Even in Manistee before the wonderful teachings of Sovereign Grace, you have always been a women who loves and fears the lord. Someone who was always willing and ready to share the gospel at ANYWTIME! Even if you had just met the person. You did though have to get in the 20 questions first! :) I remember things from bible study and youth group, to all the womens meetings you would take Sal, Amanda and I to. All the late nights you had hosting many young teens along with all of us cousins. All the summers us girls spent at your house and the many nights you waited up for us to come home, not only because you were concerned, but to sniff us for any funny smells:) Hee! Anyway, my point is that I remember so many lives that were changed and lead to lord, because of your obedience! I know that mine was definently one of them. Words cannot express my gratitude to you for your godly example, love, and kindness through the years!I miss you Aunt Jenny and hope your birthday was all that and then some. Much love, Alicia

I love you A. Jen. I am thankful to God for all the wonderful years He has blessed you with. I am amazed at your devotion to Him, your love for the Gospel, your heart for the lost, and your care for others. You model the church in your home and I have learned so much from you. Thank you for being patient with me all the years when I was a rebellious one. Thank you for not turning away from me but continually opening your doors with love to me. Thanks for the past 2 years that I have grown in my relationship with you from a distance. I so enjoy our chats and long for heaven more because I have tasted the sweetness of fellowship amoung believers in my times with you. I hope you had a great day. You definitly deserve a birthday WEEK. I love you and will chat with you later.
