Team Dinner

This past weekend we had a team dinner at our house. Mom made mini-meatloaf, with garlic smashed potatoes and green beans with sauteed almonds and crumbled bacon. It was delicious. The perfect fall dinner. The girls were so grateful for a home cooked meal! Mom is the best cook in the world! For dessert we had apple dessert with vanilla ice cream and each girl took home a loaf of pumpkin bread and some scotcharoos. Coach Dunmyer, Coach Payne and Curt came too. We also had two recruits over the weekend. Mom helped score some points with them!

Thank you to all that helped serve our bunch of 21- Jord and Nel, Kate and Clay, Dad, Mom, Melissa, Mrs. Kerd- you guys truly displayed the love of Christ!
....well, with full bellies, we are ready for a fun filled season!

Maggie,
I'm so grateful to God for the many ways he is displaying his love through you. Your desire to be a light in a dark world is SO provoking. God is being glorified and you are being faithful. HE IS SO GOOD. Love you,
Sara

Thanks Jenny and Mag and entire Smith family, for truly showing the Love of Chirst to your B Ball team. You're family is a great example to those girls and coach. I pray God will give you many opportunities to share the Gospel with them through out the season.
I love you all
A. Linda

Jenny, of course I do not mind if you check out my blog, and I love your blog, your family, and to see all the kids all grown up, they are all beautiful. It was a nice surprise to see a comment from you. Seeing your kids all grown up makes me feel so old, because it didn't seem like it was that long ago when I did go to Florida with you guys, remember when Joe lost a bag of my clothes on the freeway, that was so funny. My mom did tell me to tell you "hi" for her, she is doing well, I'm sure you know but she is dating Don Gapinski again. I think all is well w/them, you know my mom, she likes doing her own thing, and noone can tell her different. My sister has four children and lives in Savanna Georgia, I do not really like that, but my brother-in-law is going to art school there, so I just keep praying that the lord will bless them and get Dan a good paying job when he is finished, I do not think they will ever be back in Michigan, I miss her so much!!! And all the kiddies. My kids are great, Esther is getting so big, and just a real sweet girl. Liz, well Liz is pretty busy, she has to be doing something all the time, and she can't be alone, she's the middle, and just pickes on esther and Alex, I try to give her a little more attention, but it doesn't always work. Alex, he is a mama's boy, which I love (sometimes):) Alex and Liz both have some tempers, that bothers me, I try to deal the best I can!!! It was so nice to be able to chat w/ya, and see your family, Love ya, Carrie Robinson(cook)
